Lawton Man Declines Plea Deal in Child Porn Case

COMANCHE CO., Okla_ A Lawton man accused of downloading hundreds of images of child pornography said no deal.

Ross Wright turned down a plea deal Tuesday from the district attorney. He appeared in a Comanche County courtroom to consider the deal. He's charged with aggravated possession of child pornography.

Authorities arrested Wright back in December of 2011, after investigators tracked him down through their connection to a large network of agencies that monitor internet traffic for child porn. The district attorney offered him a 20-year sentence, but he declined.

Wright faces a sentence of up to life in prison. There's still no word on when his trial will be scheduled.
