Altus man accused of killing woman last year has been postponed

Posted: Updated:

Altus,Okla_The pretrial for an Altus man accused of killing a woman last year has been moved to September. Officials say authorities are waiting on forensic tests in the case against Manuel Daniel Jr.

Daniel was ordered to stand trial for the killing of Melissa Bost last August. He pleaded not guilty to the crime in September.  During his preliminary hearing, a detective testified that in February 2012, Bost had been dealing crack cocaine out of her home.

She had taken some to Daniel's house the day she was killed.  Her body was found in her car in an alley a couple of miles away.

Officials say he is still behind Jackson County bars.
