Amarillo man charged with sexual assault of a child

Amarillo, TX - A man is arrested and charged with felony sexual assault of a child.

The man has been booked into the Potter County Detention Center.

Court records show 27-year-old James Gentry allegedly assaulted a girl who was younger than 17 years old this past November.

Along with the second degree felony charge, he also faces previous felony charges for possession of a controlled substance from incidents back in 2006 and 2007.
