LAWTON Okla_ Police are investigating a shooting that happened at Lawton's H.C. King Community Center Thursday. It happened at a time when youngsters usually are there.

Police say they received the call just before 9:00 PM Thursday that someone had fired several shots. When they got there, people gave them a description of the shooter. Then at about the same time, police got information on a shooting victim at memorial hospital. The victim is a juvenile, so we have no other information.

The center's run by the city and is located at 1705 Northwest 20th Street. It houses a senior nutrition center during the day and in the afternoon and evenings, youngsters gather to play games.

No one has been arrested.
