Police Chase and Arrest Wanted Man in East Neighborhood

 

LAWTON, Okla._

Police say an arrest was responsible for the commotion in a normally quite neighborhood.

Lawton police gang task force officers said they spotted Cameron Tracy driving Saturday, when they tried to make a traffic stop.

Police said Tracy is a known gang member and is wanted out of Oklahoma City for armed robbery.

Police said Tracy pulled into Turtle Creek, an east side neighborhood on Rogers Lane, where he jumped out of his car and ran.

Police said they chased Tracy through several blocks, over fences, and through a creek.

Tracy was arrested after the 20 minute chase hiding in a shed.
