LAWTON Okla_ The Eisenhower High School freshmen class and their mentors will be participating in a challenge called Lead2Feed.

The challenge is April 6-7 and is sponsored by USA Today and Yum Industries.

The students who can get their communities to donate a large number of non-perishable items for their local food bank can win $1,000-$5,000 for local charitable organizations.  EHS students will be in front of Sam's Club, Save-A-Lot, The Health Food Center, and the Country Mart on 67th Street this from 9:00 AM-7:00 PM on Saturday and 1:00PM-6:00PM on Sunday.

We ask that the Lawton community help EHS win the challenge so that they can pass on needed funds to the Lawton Food Bank, Saint John's Baptist, and Saint Vincent DePaul Society.

Items can also be brought to EHS until April 15th.
