City National Bank Breaks Ground for Lawton Marketplace Branch

Lawton, OK- April 3, 2013- On Tuesday, April 2, City National Bank officially broke ground for the bank's newest free-standing banking center that will be located at 1836 NW 82nd Street within the Lawton Marketplace development.

Despite inclement weather, the groundbreaking ceremony was brief in nature but consisted of short remarks, a prayer, and a ceremonious turning of the soil. Among those in attendance were City National Bank board members and executives, the branch's Seattle-based architect, the branch's construction management company, Lawton Chamber of Commerce members and Red Coat ambassadors, local business and community leaders, and Comanche Nation tribal leaders.

The Lawton Marketplace branch represents City National Bank's commitment and investment for community members in west Lawton. Projected to open in August 2013, the free-standing branch will offer an array of services (drive-thru lanes, lobby services, ATM) and will have on-site lending officers. The west coast-inspired building will center on innovative wood and glass features in order to blend a warm, welcoming atmosphere with an open, inviting customer experience.

The Lawton Marketplace branch will be the 39th branch for City National Bank across Oklahoma and Kansas. In its expansion to the west side, City National Bank is dedicated to supporting and serving the west-Lawton community and looks forward to opening this summer.
