SW Oklahoma Special Olympics at Fort Sill Friday

Fort Sill- Special Olympians from across southwest Oklahoma are gearing up for a day of competition and fun at Fort Sill on Friday.

The post is hosting the games for the fourth year in a row. Moms, dads and soldiers will be on hand to cheer on the athletes as they compete in track and field events.

Troops from the 30th Air Defense Artillery Brigade will be there to help mentor and congratulate the Olympians. The opening ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. at Prichard Field on post.
