Burglars targeted Duncan and Lawton Check N' Go stores

Comanche/Stephens Co.,Okla_Police believe there might be a burglary ring spanning the state, most recently in the Lawton and Duncan areas. On Saturday morning, Lawton Police investigated the burglary of a safe at the "Check 'n Go"  on west Cache Road.

Police found the business had been ransacked and the safe broken into. Now we know that the same day, around the same time, the "Check 'n Go in Duncan was also burglarized.

Detective John Byers of Duncan Police Department said, "the way that everything was done at our Check N Go and from talking to other agencies, it appears they know exactly what they're doing, they've either looked at the store or are familiar with just the "Check 'n Go system."

Police say the company was already operating on high alert and armed with security cameras. In the Duncan robbery, the cameras were destroyed by the criminals. The Duncan Check 'n Go is located just east of Highway 81 and can be seen from the busy road. Police ask if you saw anything suspicious late Friday night or Saturday morning to contact them.
