Marlow Student Released on Bond after Gun Arrest

Marlow, Okla._

A Marlow High School student is out on bond after he was arrested last week for possession of a gun on school property.

Stephens County deputies made the discovery during a regular search for contraband and narcotics.

Deputies told Marlow Superintendent George Coffman they found the gun in a student's pickup in the school's parking lot. The student was identified as 18-year-old Dominic Brisco.

Deputies said while the gun was not loaded there was ammo found near the gun.

Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney said the student had no intention of using it on school campus, but regardless, the contraband was not allowed. The student was arrested and later posted a bond in the amount of five thousand dollars.
