Area man charged in infant death

An area man is being charged with murder in the recent death of a baby.

Thursday night, a Pampa woman returned home to find her 11 month-old child with a severe head injury.

Friday morning, Pampa police arrested Andrew Johnson of Spearman and the Gray County Sheriff's office charged him with capital murder.

Johnson is in the Hutchinson County Jail on one million dollars bond.
