Posted: Updated:

ALTUS, Okla._

Altus police are investigating a horrific case of domestic abuse after they say a woman was set on fire by her own boyfriend late Friday night.

Police said  happened around 11:00 p.m.  near 11th and East Walnut Street.

Police went to the home after the burn victim ran to her neighbor's home and claimed her boyfriend Marcus Munn had just set her on fire.

Police believe Munn poured rubbing alcohol on his girlfriend and lit her on fire after he became frustrated because she couldn't operate the couple's DVD player.

The woman was flown to OU Medical Center. Her condition remains unknown.

Saturday, police said Marcus Munn remained at large.
