The man responsible for Friday afternoon's manhunt near an elementary school has been captured and is in jail.
The search started after police went to Northwest 19th and Elm Street to serve a narcotics search warrant when the suspect Dennis Ryans allegedly drove by the house and sped away.
Police said they ordered Ryans to stop but he didn't listen.
Police said Ryans ran two stop signs before he abandoned his car and hid in a neighborhood near Whittier Elementary School.
Ryans was found hours later near the same area and was arrested. Police found drug paraphernalia inside Ryan's car and home.
