Lawton, Okla._Several people were arrested overnight after shots rang out in a northwest Lawton neighborhood that police are no stranger to.
According to a police report, gang unit officers were patrolling the neighborhood at NW 22nd and Hoover when several shots were heard. Officers saw a car speed by and activated their lights and sirens. Police lost sight of the car but came across Deverick Hooks, Virginia Nolan, and Antwon Wells, who all claimed someone had shot at them.
Police said none of their stories added up and all three were arrested for various reasons including resisting arrest and driving with a revoked license. No word if any of the three arrested were involved in the shootings.
