Three arrests made in local shooting

Amarillo, TX - Three arrests have been made in an Amarillo shooting.

23 year old Kenya Abdel Martin Jr. and 20 year old Stevon Kentrell Polk have been charged with murder.

21 year old Damarrus Ary is facing a charge of aggravated robbery.

Police say the men broke into a home in the 800 block of Kentucky in San Jacinto Wednesday morning.

Officers add that the men then shot and killed 26 year old Edward Dewayne Pendleton.

    An elementary school teacher in Tulsa says her salary has left her so short on cash that she had to panhandle for classroom supplies. Teresa Danks has been an educator since 1996. She says that while it's never been a financially rewarding profession, lately is been getting even harder to get by. She makes around $35,000 a year, with about $3,000 being spent out of pocket for school supplies.
