Amarillo, TX - NewsChannel 10 got an exclusive interview with a traveler who was at the Bush International Airport in Houston at the time of the shooting.

But she's not just any traveler, she's the coach for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and she faced a terrifying situation in Houston while on her way to Amarillo.

NewsChannel 10 helped bring the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders to Amarillo for the Cinco de Mayo Fajita Festival Thursday.

When coach Sherry Bramhall was at Bush International Airport on her way to meet up with the team, she had a major delay.

Bramhall says the shooting happened around 1:30 in the afternoon and her terminal was shutdown for several hours.

She ended up arriving in Amarillo around 9:00 in the evening and was still shaken up from the entire incident.

Bramhall shared her first-hand account of what happened as the terminal was turned into a crime scene.

"When we had gotten off the tram, literally just steps off, people were shoving us back onto the tram telling us to duck. They said somebody was shooting and to go back to where you came from. So we all got back on the train, went back to the terminal and started the questioning process," says Sherry Bramhall, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader Coach.

Bramhall says she frequently travels and this is one of the most frightening things she has ever had to encounter.
