Oklahoma Speaker of the House T.W. Shannon, a Cameron alumnus, will present the commencement address. Cameron officials encourage graduates, their families and friends, and all visitors to arrive at least 30 minutes early to facilitate a seamless entry into the stadium. The officers will check for any unacceptable items, such as cans, bottles, illegal drugs, alcohol, weapons, fireworks, signs on poles, and noisemakers.

WEATHER

In the event of a spring rain, the commencement ceremony will still be held at Cameron Stadium on Friday evening. Ponchos will be available at the stadium gates for graduates, faculty and guests. Guests are encouraged to dress accordingly. Also, to ensure that all guests have an unimpeded view of the stage, umbrellas will not be allowed.

If severe weather continues on Saturday morning, four separate ceremonies will be held at Aggie Gym, beginning at 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. If Commencement is held in Aggie Gym, each graduate is limited to four guests due to space limitations.

The 10 a.m. ceremony will be held for undergraduate and master candidates from the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences. Faculty and candidates should assemble no later than 9:30 a.m. at the rear of Aggie Gym.

The Noon ceremony will be held for Interdisciplinary Studies candidates and undergraduate and master candidates from the School of Business. Faculty, staff, and candidates should assemble no later than 11:30 a.m. at the rear of Aggie Gym.
