A two-car accident in Medicine Park killed an 18-year-old driver and critically injured a passenger.

The accident happened  at the intersection of Highways 49 and 58 around 5:30 Tuesday evening.

Police say the teen was headed south on 58 and stopped at the intersection at 49. The driver then attempted to turn east onto 49 but failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was hit broadside by a westbound car.
