Motorcycle Accident Sends Man to Hospital

LAWTON, Okla_A man was ejected from his motorcycle late Saturday night, and  witnesses said he is lucky to be alive.

Just before 11 PM the man, traveling south down 53rd Street, lost control of his bike.

He hit the curb and then went across the intersection and crashed at the corner of 53rd and Liberty taking a chunk out of a light pole.

 

He was taken to CCMH with injuries to his head, leg and neck but is expected to recover.

Onlookers say he was not wearing a helmet.
