A rollover accident in Moore County Friday left one Dumas man dead Friday night.

Officials say 25-year-old Juan Carlos Chavez-Gonzales was headed east on US 87 when he lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle flipped several times, ejecting Chavez-Gonzales from the car. He was taken to Northwest Texas Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Officials report Chavez-Gonzales was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
