New Mexico killing and chase

Posted: Updated:

New Mexico - Two New Mexico women will head to court Tuesday facing charges related to a high speed chase and  murder.

Police say they attempted to pull over Jennifer Mckee and Ashley Gurule during a traffic stop May 3rd.

The reason was reckless driving but quickly turned into something more.

The suspects fled and the chase reached speeds of 80 miles per hour ending in a wreck an intersection.

After the chase was over the women admitted there was a body in the trunk.

Police say it was the owner of the vehicle who was murdered for his car.
