Man charged with assault and burglary

Posted: Updated:

Lawton, OK_ A man suspected in a string of burglaries and assaults in northwest Lawton is now facing almost 30 years in prison.

Investigators say a woman claimed she saw Tito Pratt crawling out of her neighbor's apartment with a television near the corner of Northwest 22nd & Hoover.

She says Pratt allegedly pulled a gun and asked her if she was going to "snitch on him." The woman said she ran back into her apartment and called 911.

Investigators also believe that Pratt is responsible for a home invasion near Northwest Pollard and 19th back in April. That victim told police Pratt kicked her door open and then choked her. She was able to identify him in a photo lineup.

Pratt is facing numerous charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and second-degree burglary.
