Donald West sentenced for Amarillo bank robbery

Amarillo, TX - A man convicted of robbing an Amarillo bank was sentenced by a federal judge Friday.

Donald West was sentenced to 35 years in prison after being convicted in the November 2012 armed robbery of the First bank Southwest on 34th and Bell.

In March of this year West was convicted of aggravated bank robbery, being a felon in possession of a firearm and using that weapon during a violent crime.
