UPDATE: Two drown at Waurika Lake

Waurika_Two people drowned in separate incidents Friday at Waurika Lake. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the body of a male victim was recovered Friday night, a few hours after a dive team had been dispatched to search for the victim.

The age and identity of the victim had not been released Friday night.

Around 10:15pm Friday, the OHP confirmed that search crews had returned to the lake to find another victim, but did not provide further information, such as, if the two incidents were related.

Friday's tragedies come less than two weeks after a twelve-year-old boy drowned at Waurika Lake, while swimming with others who had gathered for a family reunion.
