Ochiltree County fatal wreck

Perryton, TX - A one-vehicle accident in Ochiltree county claimed the life of an area teen.

The Texas Department of Public Safety tells us it happened on FM 759 at around 7:30 Friday night.

They add the 15-year-old from Perryton was traveling westbound when he attempted to avoid a deer in the road.

He swerved right, causing the vehicle to slide into a utility pole.

The teen was pronounced dead on scene.  

The passenger 18-year old Paola Irigoyen of Perryton was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
