Texas moving forward on voter ID laws

The State of Texas is now moving forward on voter ID laws and passing controversial district maps.

A Supreme Court ruling earlier this week struck down requirement for certain states to get pre-clearance before changing election laws.

That means until new requirements are drawn up those states, including Texas, can pass what they want.

Texas DMV's will start handing out free ID's tomorrow and re-districting maps found to be discriminatory earlier this year may now be okay 'd.
