Ice cream vendor assaulted & robbed

Amarillo, TX - Police are searching for two suspects in an assault and robbery.

Officers say around 8:45 Wednesday night a 47-year-old ice cream vendor was attacked in East Park in the 700 block of Ross.

The vendor told officers two Hispanic men assaulted him before stealing his wallet and his ice cream cart.

The vendor was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the men may having been driving a white pickup truck, possibly a GMC.
