Head-On Crash Sends Two to Hospital

LAWTON Okla_ Two people were sent to the hospital Friday after a head on collision involving a UPS truck.

It happened at SE 120th and Coombs Road just after 3PM. OHP said the driver of the red car attempted to make a left turn onto Coombs from 120th, when he collided head on into a UPS delivery truck that was westbound on Coombs.

Investigators say the driver of the car did have a yield sign, but they aren't sure if he stopped. Both vehicles appear to be totaled.

Both drivers were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. No word on their injuries.
