Peanut Butter Donated For Okla. Disaster Relief

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Peanut Commission has donated $140,000 worth of peanut butter to benefit victims of the May tornadoes and floods.

The Regional Food Bank says it received two truckloads containing 18-ounce jars of peanut butter. The South Agriculture Carriers also donated their time by hauling the trucks at no cost.

The food bank has been working to assist Oklahomans affected by the deadly storms while still maintaining its services for the hungry throughout central and western Oklahoma. The organization says it provides enough food to feed more than 90,000 Oklahomans each week.
