Man found shot in yard of Lawton home

Lawton- A man is in a Lawton hospital Wednesday morning after police say he was found shot outside a home.

It happened a little before 10:30 Tuesday night near 34th and NW Lincoln Avenue. Officers say they found the victim lying in a yard with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken by ambulance to Comanche County Memorial Hospital. Police say the man's injuries are not life threatening.

Witnesses tell police they heard about 15 gunshots. Our 7NEWS photojournalist spotted nine-shell casings in the street.
