Good evening, Texoma. Strong storms are already developing in the eastern Texas Panhandle. They will move toward areas along Hwy 283 around 5 -6 PM. Spots along I-44 need to watch out for storms between 8 and 9 PM tonight. Main threats will be for large hail to tennis ball size and winds over 70 mph. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. I feel storms will be out of our area by midnight.
First thing in the morning, a few spotty showers are possible. As the cold front sweeps the region, expect clearing skies and breezy north winds to take their place. Highs will only reach the upper 70s.
