Texans given the chance to name shuttle replica at Johnson Space Center

Texans are being given the chance to name the full-sized space shuttle replica that will be displayed at Johnson Space Center's Official Visitor Center in Houston.

The Visitor Center, Space Center Houston, is running its "Name The Shuttle" contest through Labor Day.

Houston had unsuccessfully tried to land one of NASA's four retired space shuttles.

A panel of judges will select one winner, who will be announced in September.
