LAWTON, Okla._A Lawton man is in police custody after allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend with a hatchet.

First responders were called to the Arvest Bank at 26th and Gore Friday around 4:30.

When they arrived, they found a woman with a non-life threatening leg injury. She later told police she was in her SUV talking with her ex-boyfriend when he became upset.

He got out, went inside his house, and came back out with a hatchet. That's when he broke 3 windows of the SUV.

The glass cut the woman's leg before she drove off.

Police found and arrested the man around 11:30 Friday night.
