UPDATE: Deadly Motorcycle Crash

GERONIMO, Okla._

A motorcycle crash remains under investigation after a pursuit with Geronimo police Saturday night ended with one man dead and another in serious condition.

Investigators said 21-year-old Wolf Andrew Manuel, of Lawton, was speeding down a road in Geronimo when police attempted to stop both him and his passenger, 18-year-old Zachary Richardson of Waurika.

According to Geronimo police the two refused to stop, leading police on a high speed chase topping at speeds of 90 miles per hour.

During the pursuit police lost sight of the motorcycle, but later found the bike crashed on Highway 277 near an area just south of Baseline Road where both men were thrown from the bike.

Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene. Manuel was flown to a local hospital where he was listed in serious condition.

According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Manuel was suspected of driver under the influence of alcohol.

Both Manuel and Richardson were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
