Man arrested for home break-in, assault

Amarillo, TX - A man is behind bars this afternoon after breaking into an Amarillo home.

Just before midnight Thursday, Amarillo police responded to the scene of an aggravated assault.

Officers say a woman was at her home in the 2900 block of south Nelson when her ex-boyfriend broke in and began to assault the woman's male friend.

The suspect is identified as 26-year-old Isaac Frausto.

Frausto was later booked into the Randall County jail for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit a felony.
