Police arrest suspect in Toot'n Totum robberies

Amarillo, TX - Police arrest a suspect who may be connected to two Amarillo Toot'n Totum robberies.

They say an Hispanic male demanded money at the Toot'n Totum near Wolflin and Coulter in southwest Amarillo around 11:30 Saturday night.

Just over an hour later, police were called to the Toot'n Totum near 54th and Soncy for a similar robbery, where employees described a similar suspect.

Officers later found Jerel Abraham Perez, who reportedly matched the description and drove a similar truck to the one described by witnesses.

He was arrested and booked into the Randall County jail for robbery.
