LAWTON Okla_ Lawton police are on the lookout for the driver who took them on a wild chase Thursday morning, hitting a jogger in the process.

Police say an officer tried to stop the driver for reckless driving at 44th and Cache Road, but the driver took off, reaching speeds of more than 100 MPH. The driver hit a jogger on 82nd Street during the pursuit but kept going until he ran right through the fence at Fort Sill.

Sill police later found the car, but the driver was long gone. As for the jogger the driver hit: fortunately, he's okay. He was taken to the hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
