LaGuardia Airport open after plane landing accident

New York's LaGuardia Airport is open but only after another accident involving a landing.

It comes just weeks after the deadly crash in San Francisco.

This time, the nose gear of a Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville collapsed.

The Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 collapsed moments after touching down at LagGuardia Airport Monday afternoon.

Officials say a malfunction with the plane's front wheels caused the jet to slam onto the runway.

143 passengers and 6 crew members were on board.

No one was killed, but at least 10 people were treated on the scene for minor injuries.

Despite being the latest in a series of airline accidents, experts say passengers shouldn't worry.

Investigators say they will not determine an official cause for several months.

Initial attention is focusing on actions of the crew during approach.
