Weiner's Manager Drops Out

Posted: Updated:

NEW YORK CITY, NY._More troubles for Anthony Weiner's campaign for New York City mayor.

Days after Anthony Weiner admitted to more lewd Internet exchanges with young women, his campaign manager is calling it quits.

Danny Kedem, 31, informed Weiner that he could no longer run day-to-day operations after the mayoral hopeful admitted Tuesday that he continued to send raunchy photos and messages to women after resigning from Congress in 2011  amid a "sexting" scandal. Weiner offered no reason for Kedem's departure.

"No campaign is ever easy. When you want this tough job you've got to be prepared to show you're tough during the campaign as well," stated Anthony Weiner.

Weiner is resisting the calls from his rivals to drop out of the mayoral race, and has indicated he may stop answering questions altogether about his past online relationships. Weiner says his campaign is still focused.
