UPDATE: Power Pole Snapped by Semi

LAWTON Okla_ A semi carrying farm equipment snagged a power line Tuesday afternoon on 82nd Street just south of Lee Boulevard and snapped a power pole.  

A few small grassfires sparked from the accident but no injuries were reported. Repair crews from the electric company responded, and started putting up a new pole shortly after the accident. 

 

PSO says there are currently no outages in that area.  At last check, the company's crew was still on the scene.
