$2 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Ada

Posted: Updated:

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Lottery Commission says a Powerball ticket worth $2 million was sold at a convenience store in Ada.

The commission said Thursday that the ticket for the Wednesday night drawing was sold at D & W Quick Stop and the winner has not yet claimed the prize.

The winning numbers for the drawing are 8, 24, 39, 49 and 59. The Powerball number is 5. The ticket matched the first five numbers for a $1 million prize and the purchaser bought the power play option that doubled the winnings.

Winners have 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim their prize at the Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters in Oklahoma City.

There was no jackpot winner and the jackpot increased to an estimated $290 million for Saturday's drawing.
