Man robbed at gunpoint at local motel

Amarillo, TX - A man is robbed at gunpoint Friday morning at a local motel. 

A man told Amarillo police he had stayed at the Motel 6 on I-40 east and was loading his luggage in the car when he was approached by a man who pulled out a gun and demanded his wallet.

The victim gave the man his wallet with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as white male in his early 20's, around 6 feet tall with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black fleece pullover, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
