Lawton Man Charged with Sex Crimes

LAWTON Okla_ The man Lawton police arrested last week on child porn now is charged with it.

The Comanche County District Attorney has charged 40-year-old Michael David Neil with sending sexual pictures and texts and making sexual phone calls to an underage person. Authorities say it happened between June 1st and July 31st.

Thursday, 7News reported police had checked out Neil's home in Mission Village after they got a tip about the possible rape of a child. While they were there, they found child porn on Neil's computer and cell phone.

If convicted, Neil could face 10 years in prison or a fine up to $10,000.
