Beaver County, OK_One person died when a single engine plane crashed in the Oklahoma Panhandle Monday.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the plane crashed around 10 a.m. a few miles southwest of Bryan's Corner in Beaver County.
The OHP reports the plane was flying northeast when one of its wings struck the top of a weather tower. The plane went into a flat spin and crashed on its top in a field.
The pilot was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
