Baby dies from heat after hot car ride

Ardmore, OK- An investigation is underway following a one-month old baby's death in Oklahoma.

Ardmore Police say the child was riding in a car with no air conditioning, as the family traveled from Ohio to the Ringling area. The parents told officers they noticed the baby was not breathing. Investigators say the little girl was pronounced dead at an Ardmore hospital.

Another child in the car was taken into state custody. Police say only one window in the car would roll down. Investigators are looking at the case as possible child neglect.
