Miles Bench Competent To Stand Trial

DUNCAN, Ok_A Stephens County judge found Miles Bench competent to stand trial, Wednesday morning.

Bench is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 16-year-old Braylee Henry.  The Velma teenager was killed June 6, 2012 after she went into a convenience store where Bench worked as a clerk.

A few hours later, Henry's body was found along a rural Stephens County road.  Bench was found 130 miles away driving Henry's car.

Formal arraignment in the case is set for September 5, 2013.
