Michael Neil Faces Additional Charge

Posted: Updated:

LAWTON, Okla._

A man charged with soliciting sexual conduct or communication with minor by use of technology, is now facing a second charge. Friday a police report said Michael Neil was additionally charged with possession of child pornography, after pictures and videos of child pornography were discovered on his phone after it was sent to OSBI and searched for evidence.

Neil was arrested, a week ago, after police went to his home after a young girl told detectives Neil had raped her while inside his Lawton home, in the Mission Village neighborhood.

Earlier this week, Neil was first charged with soliciting sexual conduct or communication with minor by use of technology after a court document said Neil sent the girl explicit text messages via cell phone. He has not been charged with raping the girl. Neil remains in the Comanche County Detention Center.
