Lawton, Okla._A little girl honored her dad's fight against cancer Tuesday in Lawton by cutting off her ponytail for the Locks of Love.
Elizabeth Everett is 7-years-old, and her dad Eric had a brain tumor removed a year ago. So to celebrate that anniversary, she decided to help others who are going through the fight now.
Her dad Eric said, "She was very excited, and she was like, "Daddy, I wanna go donate it, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!" She's such a sweet and giving little girl and I'm just the proudest daddy ever."
Everett said his father also had cancer, and after his own experience with it, he hopes to come up with a way to expand on the Locks for Love program so more people can be helped.
