Cache, Okla._One man was arrested Thursday for crushing a man's leg with his car in Cache on Wednesday.
The Cache Police Chief says they arrested the suspect, identified as Corey Choney, in Cache. He was a passenger in a car near the school. Choney is being held on $150,000 bond on complaints of aggravated assault and battery, leaving the scene of an accident and reckless driving.
Choney's 16-year-old son was briefly detained by juvenile authorities, but he has since been released to his mother's custody.
Meanwhile, the man who was injured in the assault, Mickey Howell, is recovering from surgery at the OU Medical Center. Howell's mother told 7NEWS doctors repaired compound fractures of his leg. Howell's leg was broken when he was hit and pinned between two cars.
Investigators say the attack was apparently sparked by a domestic dispute.
Howell's mother said doctors tell her the outlook for her son's complete recovery is good.
