Car show collects donations for Alzheimer's Association

Dozens of show cars from all over the tri-state area were in Amarillo Saturday afternoon for a benefit car show.

Hundreds of people were able to check out the cars on display outside the Urssery Roan Texas State Veterans Home.

The event was free but donations were being accepted for the Alzheimer's Association.

    An overnight house fire in Altus remains under investigation and authorities are calling it suspicious. The fire broke out just before four this morning at this home on the 1100 block of Chestnut Street. It was engulfed by the time firefighters arrived. Officials are working to determine what started the fire. They say the home is a total loss.
